This is by far our favorite place to eat in Cleveland. The staff are very nice and kind. It is very reasonable and you get generous quantities of food for the price. I would highly recommend this place.
Yummy yummy yummy – inexpensive and delicious! It’s pretty much a no frills, neighborhood place with a small dining room (maybe enough tables for 30 people), but the food is wonderful! For about $20 my husband, daughter and I got the vegetarian sampler with four dishes (def get the dreamy chickpea stew and the red lentil stew) with traditional injeri bread. and had more than enough to eat. The first time we went there we had the chicken and beef stew dishes, which were also delicious. Great choice!
I just had one of the most delicious meals ever, at this restaurant. I’d never been there before but I’ll definitely go back. Very very satisfying – worth every dollar. The service was excellent as well. If they were in Akron, I’d be there every week
Amazing Food! Great customer service and very swift with bringing out food. Friendly atmosphere, with beautiful smiling people!
I can’t wait to go back!! Every dish on the combo platter was outstanding. The service was great and it’s an all-around nice place
Beautiful restaurant with wonderful, friendly service. Food is DELICIOUS and the injera bread is the best I’ve ever had. We really, really loved our experience here so much we will be going there again soon, and often.
This is my favorite restaurant on Lee Rd. Get the vegetarian combo dish to try lots of different things. The red lentil is my favorite, but you’ll never love greens the way you love the collards and kale here. So good! Also the people are really nice.
I had the pleasure of going on a double date here a little while back. We were looking for something authentic that we hadn’t had before, and a place with shareable dishes. I came across this little gem, and we gave it a try. Totally worth it!

The interior is clean and cozy. You are close together with all the other patrons, but you can still enjoy your company. Themed art decorates the walls, the TV even plays Ethiopian music videos.

We started off with some coffee and Sambusa. The coffee was rich and herbaceous. I added a little bit of sugar, but it’s not necessary. It had a wonderful spiciness to it, like cumin or coriander. The Sambusa was crispy and had a delicious Lentil filling.

For dinner, we chose the Zoma Special Combo, a collaboration of meat and vegetable dishes with plenty of Injera bread. There was no silverware, so you use the bread as your utensils. We had so much fun picking at the massive plate and trying all the different selections. The flavors were rich, and the vegetable dishes were as tasty (if not more) than the meat dishes. If you need more Injera bread, just ask and they will gladly bring you more.

Everyone there was pleasant, and the owner thanked us personally as we left. Whether you are out in a group or looking to try something new with your significant other, Zoma is an excellent establishment that provides a unique dining experience and authentic cuisine. Places like this need our support in order to maintain a growing culture in the city of Cleveland. Be adventurous and give them a try!
